If you are a social activist and are not writing a Blog then you are not fully using the Web to support your activism. Do a search for "Indiana Child Custody Law" and you should see many returns for Sam Hasler's Blog. Sam is an attorney out of Andrson Indiana who has been posting for years on various legal issues. It is the wide range of legal topics and the near daily commitment that has moved Sam to being near the top of the returns on such a popular issue. You dont have to go at it for years to get noticed though. What you need is relevant content to your cause, a relevant website to connect to and the commitment to keep adding content to both.
Now do a search for "Indiana Senate Bill 560" and see what returns you get. Child advocates throughout the state as well as myself and others within our organization have been pushing for years to get this legislation introduced. I have also been writing about it in my blog. You may expect the top returns for a Senate Bill to be from the Indiana General Assembly or some other government entity that has large, professionally built Websites that are updated on a daily basis. Are you surprised at the results?

Its tough to beat free especially if you have little or no budget for your activism and are not a full-time activist like I am. So, just jump right into this page and see what it is all about. Dont delay in getting a Blog. Blogs are the easiest way to get messages related to your activism out there and draw people into the websites of those whose cause you are championing.
